lilly your link led to a domain holding site filled with advertisements.

But I googled the Federal lawsuit and found out the Governor IS being sued in Federal Court for "failing to issue the 2007 Juneteenth Proclamation"

Gov. Sarah Palin is being sued in federal court by "Jazz musician and America's Hot Musician judge Gregory Charles Royal" for violating the law by failing to issue the 2007 Juneteenth Proclamation. Juneteenth is also known as African American Emancipation Day.

According to the SAME AUTHOR you quote in your last post,

"While the lawsuit is frivolous, it does raise questions about Palin’s views on race, and how they may clash with RNC chairman Michael Steele’s plans to expand the GOP base." - http://www.politicususa.com/en/Sarah...uit-Juneteenth

This Jazz musician claims his motivation for the lawsuit is because Palin made a disparaging racial remark about him in 1990. In 1990 Sarah Palin was 26, the mother of a one year old, and working in her husband's fishing business. She had no involvement in politics or any cultural or civic activities until many years later - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Palin

Did you read that source? There was NOTHING in that post that stated that Palin called Obama 'Sambo'. NOTHING.

It was a post about how that blogger used unsourced, anonymous rumors - and here's how he justifies it:

Quote:
I called my friend after the interview and, relating what’d said, asked if she was trustworthy. I was assured that, “It’d be easier for Lucille to hunt bears bare handed than to tell a lie.”
Rock solid proof, no doubt

Sorry, FR. Your statements here continue the BS and lies. There IS no "single payer Obamacare". This is the Right's biggest lie.

Further, to either have a choice of plans or to opt out are allowed for - "not so under Obamacare" is a lie, and you know it. You will need to show you can pay our health care expenses to opt out so the taxpayers and hospitals don't end up paying them. You CAN pay cash for any kind of healthcare you want.

Republicans are fast becoming irrelevant with this behavior.

This is absurd.

Sarah Palin met a colored person once and thought he handled her luggage very well, donchaknow.

The 'government care' option will eventually eliminate the private insurance - that has always been the plan - as shown by this video:

And rather then the Republicans, it is the Democrats who are falling to pieces about this:

If we are goign to start on the stereotyping I have plenty from the time I had to spend in NJ.

It depends on what you mean by 'Obamacare'. If you mean what Obama himself said, he is all in favor of a single-payer plan. So if that is what you mean by 'Obamacare'; what the Prez himself wants; then the statement is perfectly accurate.

If you are talking instead about H.R. 3200, the bill currently being debated on the floor of Congress, Obama knows he is not going to get single payer in that bill. But he also knows that if he gets the 'public option' that private insurers will mostly be destroyed, leaving the government program totally dominating the market. This does not create a pure single-payer system where private insurance is illegal, as in Canada, but the results are pretty much the same. The vast majority of people would be in the cheap, taxpayer-subsidized government plan, with only a small number of people able to afford more expensive plans supporting the few remaining private insurers. The government, since they controlled almost all the healthcare dollars in the market, would have near total power to dictate terms to healthcare providers, exactly as it is with a single payer plan. So if a 'public option' is in the final plan, to say that it is not single payer is a distinction without difference. The evil of total government control of American healthcare is the real issue; it is the goal of Obama and the other socialists; and with the 'public option', that is just what we will get.

I read the link, lilly.

The article is unsubstantiated accusations of racism, based on a lawsuit that the blogger himself admits is frivolous. The lawsuit AND accusation of racism comes from a Jazz musician who wants us to believe "Palin made a racially disparaging remark about him while he was touring Alaska in 1990 with the Duke Ellington Orchestra". Palin was an undistinguished young mother working in her husband's fishing business 19 years ago.

In other words, this is pure

and no one but you is saluting.

Every sentence in this statement stretches beyond credibility. IF he gets a public option, private insurance being destroyed is only true in the fertile imagination of the Right, but few credible authorities feel that way.

Having "total power to dictate terms" is not true, how does that even follow for private insurers to be restricted from offering what their customers want???

And one would think if the government plan is going to kill you, the private plans would retain a significant popularity. Just a guess.

The above statement is fake. Let's contrast that with the statement below, which is real.

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."

It has degenerated into name calling.

Locked.

I am going to remind everyone once again that all personal issues belong in PM or the Dungeon, not on the Main Floor.
