Looks wonderful but the only thing "lite" about it was the yogurt or sourcream  I think a couple of tablespoons of poppyseeds would be nice to add to the batter

I second the poppyseeds. I didn't watch the video, but I'd sprinkle sugar on it and squeeze over half a lemon as soon as I took it from the oven.

It's a nice, basic lemon loaf recipe... close enough, (I think), to the one I misplaced to try today. I second the lemon/sugar drizzle. I sprinkle on fresh squeezed lemon juice & dust on a bit of sugar after it's out of the oven - slurp!

the recipe I use is different, milk/egg/butter etc no yogurt/sour cream. The recipe in my cookbook says to put 1 tbsp of lemon juice into the batter as well as the shredded outer peel of said lemon.
