New Forum for MidEast news
leistb suggested we start a new forum just for MidEast news, so here 'tis:

I stickied Samen's OP which has a quick run down of all the countries currently experiencing popular uprisings, and will try to keep it up on the top of our Front Page as long as this is a situation of concern.

Not to be a killjoy, but didn't we have seperate areas for US and international news at one point, and it got to be messy since many stories have global implications?

I just noticed you use a wide different definition of MidEast. Tunisia, Morocco are in the Meditteranean area.
I had to chuckle when i found the Gabon thread...it's quite a way from the ME.

In some definitions, Afghanistan is considered to be part of the Middle East, though it is in southwestern Asia.
