Seems to be right in line with the Crime Inc. agenda.

They won't be happy until we're all living like peasants again.
While the aristocracy (i.e. Al Gore & Co.) keep right on living in their baronial mansions.

Well that is coming pretty true for many of the residents of the Gulf Coast, who personally are soon going to paying, with the loss of their property and livelyhoods, some of the REAL cost of fossil fuel.
But the rest of the country is OK, for now, anyway. Burn on!

I would ask what EPA 'carbon emissions' rules, and the grotesque cost increases that we will have to bear as a result have to do with the oil spill; but we all already know the answer to that question is 'nothing whatsoever'.

I live on the Gulf Coast. We are very aware of the threat that is literally looming over the horizon.
We are also aware of what 'cap & trade' will mean to our electricity rates and fuel prices so that we can MAYBE develop "green energy" sources that will MAYBE make our lives better. AFTER we've paid higher costs for years and years. Which, of course, will seriously impact both tourism but also people's ability to buy expensive local seafood.
