Chicken nuggets, chicken patties

Say hello to mechanically separated chicken. It’s what all fast-food chicken is made from—things like chicken nuggets and patties. Also, the processed frozen chicken in the stores is made from it.
Basically, the entire chicken is smashed and pressed through a sieve—bones, eyes, guts, and all. it comes out looking like this.
There’s more: because it’s crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color.

Yup, thanx  I just threw out what was for dinner, chicken spinach feta cheese sausages.$6.00 for five. No ground up chicken anything for me anymore. Oy, the things I learn on message boards

I will confess to eating raw hot dogs. I avoid chicken nuggets & strips like the plague - I can feel my arteries constricting just looking at them. That tube of meat-like product looks like an albino anaconda or something.

I'll add mechanically separated chicken to cell phone towers, CFCs, terrorism, the government, meteors, zombies, yellowstone, Y2K, 2012, WiFi, oil based paint, flu, anthrax, lung cancer, throat cancer, ass cancer, scrote cancer, and any movie directed by Michael Bay on my list of things that are probably really bad for me and may kill me.
Mechanically mutilated chicken is low on my 'give a damn' list.

It does NOT taste good - it tastes like butt cancer. Now if you're looking for good tasting garbage food, try some Cheddar & Sour Cream chips - Hostess, I think. Sounds appalling, tastes divine.

I love Chicken McNuggets too!!
Hell, they can't be any worse than HEAD CHEESE or Blutwurst. Two equally repulsive ways to use leftover offal.

That is gross, BUT...I don't know about McDonalds nuggets, but I can tell you that the Banquet chicken tenders don't use it. Check the labels on the "nuggets" and hot dogs that you buy--if it doesn't say "Mechanically separated" then it's not.
