Why in the world does Florida ~sell~ licenses to those who don't even live in that state? And was the Penn. state legislature asleep at the switch when they allowed that loophole to become legal??

Until about a year ago you could have a driver's license in Florida AND another state. My kids all had them so they could get residency discounts at the attractions. Hundreds of thousands vote in Florida AND in another state (illegally) because there's no cross checking. They spend the winters down here so of course they want a say in local politics, and as soon as it gets warm they head north where they own a house so they want a say in the politics of their home town too. The Presidential candidates like them.

Cactus AZ -- pretty sure were talking concealed carry here. PA doesn't (yet) have a permit requirement for firearm ownership in general.

Lots of states offer non-resident CCW permits. I have a non-resident Oregon permit.
