That sucks but... they're being comped transportation costs, refunded the cost of their cruise & being given another one.
I wouldn't whine too much - heck, it's a bit of an adventure at this point.

If you used up all your vacation days from work floating in a cruise ship with no A/C, power or working toilets, and being served sandwiches and warm soda, you might be a little peeved even with the comps.

So, they get towed to Ensenada after all that time on a stricken boat.
Then, they have to get on Greyhound buses and ride 18-24 back to their port in California?

I know a lot of fools who plan a vacation, run all around then arrive back home at 5-6pm on the day before they go back to work. And they leave with just enough money for the trip.
How can you get settled, wash clothes, etc. and make it to work the next day?
How would you do that if you have kids?
The Volcano in Iceland caught a lot of fools shorthanded.
