In the first video in that second link I posted above, when they first start playing, he's playing part of a West African rhythm called Kuku.

If you listen, you can hear it. Sounds like

kuku.. for cocoa puffs....... kuku.. for cocoa puffs





I finally found a clip where you can hear that part




gosh, now all this drumming business makes me want to get my drum out and play. But I developed a ding
in the head and pulled all the tension ropes out because a friend did a beautiful henna mandala on the
head and I wanted to save the artwork before the head blew.

I really need to get busy on this project lol
