CRON-O-Meter Nutrition Tool
Download from here:
http://spaz.ca/cronometer/
I sort of accidentally found this nutrition tracking tool about 6 months ago. At that point I was only trying to figure out how much calcium I was getting in my normal diet.
The result of using this tool went much beyond that. I have ended up losing 40 pounds over the past 27 weeks. Not sure how much more I will lose. At some point what I am eating and my weight will balance out. I suspect it will be about 10-15 more -- maybe a few more than that in summer when I am more active. Doesn’t matter -- I’m already pretty content with what I’ve lost and foresee no problem continuing with what I‘m eating LONG TERM.
It is a free download. Once you download, it is on your computer. You don’t have to register or log in on any online web sites to use it like some others I’ve seen. It has plenty of default settings and a huge food list. However, most every setting is customizable to suit. IE, I may feel the RDA of magnesium, or fiber, or Vitamin C, or protein is too low for my needs. I can change it. If the food list doesn’t exactly match a product I frequently buy, I can modify and/or create a new one. You can also create a ‘recipe’ for any dish you cook to figure out the nutrition in a portion size of your choosing.
I think the tool was originally designed for a group that believes severe calorie restriction will extend your life. I have no opinion about that. It doesn’t matter because I think the tool is useful in whatever method or to whatever extent you choose to use it.
I hope some others will find it as beneficial as I have.

Great app.
I managed to download this around noon after only one banana, and now I am really hungry, that's good.

44 pounds gone now using Cron-O-Meter. It works well for me.
The rate of loss is slowing now- but that is to to expected as I am much closer to what will become my 'maintenance' weight.

58 pounds now gone. I'm back to a weight I haven't been in nearly 20 years.

I don't see a download button. I see three login buttons, but I thought you said it didn't require a login.

They have changed that page since I last visited. They did recently create an online/login version and it looks like they are trying to encourage people to use it instead.
I did find a download still available here: http://windows.podnova.com/software/690942.htm
get it while you can...this may disappear as well.

This week is my one year anniversary of using Cron-o-meter. I've lost 60 pounds.
I don't own a camera (at least not digital), so coming up with with before and after pics is a little tough. This is the best I could do from pics others have taken. In fact, I've lost several more since the second pic was taken about a month ago.

Key if you feel as good as you look, you must think you're ready to conquer the world. Congrats on a fantastic effort.
