That is my retirement plan. I had no idea that I was part of such a large group.

As will I because I want to, not because I have to.
Too my people I know who will have to do this could have done better.
Either they got greedy, didn't diversify their portfolio, and put all of their money in real estate. Of course the crash got them.
The others live to good of a life running up to retirements. McMansions, expensive imported cars, second home lake or beach homes, vacations to Europe, etc. They didn't save cash for retirement.
But me? Too many of my male ancestors died a year or two after retirement. Some it was from the field, some it was from the oilfield.
Sat in a rocking chair on the porch like people thought you should (the decent thing) and died.
Not for me. Early out at 55, do some consulting ($150-300hr) about 20-30 hours a week. Travel and visit around the country with notebook computer, wireless broadband card, and cell phone. Maybe a nice Class A motor coach with a built in office.

Drive somewhere, park it, set up and work. Maybe let Ms. Pote drive some and bill some additional hours.
