A while ago i read a series of articles about our local street prostitutes who are mainly drug addicts and some clients hassled them to have unprotected sex. I think the scare part of the brain gets turned of.

Yeah, and her ex-husband sounds like a real class act too. 
I don't understand the logic behind having sex with a bunch of different people (many of whom may be total strangers) with no commitment in mind, just sex. But if people want to take on that kind of risk, then they can live with the consequences down the road.
