Testing on children and adolescents showed that they are more likely to be sensitive to allergens if their vit. D levels were low (less than 15 nanograms of vitamin D per milliliter of blood). Testing on adults revealed no association between low vit. D levels and allergies.

Too much computer and video games which keep kids from going outside and being desensitized.
Or weak genes.
There have always been children who needed medical assistance with these issues, but why is it only in the last 20-30 years there seems to be an epidemic?

I hinted at that.
It is ironic.
Kids stay indoors with video games and computers.
We have to give them allergy shots to desensitize them.
If they would just go outside they probably would get subclinical doses and not need the shots.
