Heavy Fighting Reported in Baton Rouge
LSU bar fight started by honking car horn..
A bar fight that sent four people to emergency rooms started when a driver honked his horn at a crowd blocking his way out of the bar's parking lot, Baton Rouge police said Sunday.
The driver was one of four people injured in the fight outside Shady's Bar, according to a news release from Sgt. Donald Stone.
He said quarterback Jordan Jefferson, offensive lineman Chris Davenport, defensive lineman Josh Johns and receiver Jarvis Landry have been asked to come to police headquarters Monday.
"They weren't asked to turn themselves in. (no, no. no)
They were asked to come in so they can be interviewed and tell their side of the story," Stone said in a telephone interview. The investigation will continue after that, and police may interview other players, he said.

The football team of a shitty school started a barfight. News at 11.
(LSU is ranked 124th academically among universities by US news&world report, 2011. Can you even name 123 other Universities?).

Note: LSU is actually ranked even worse, at an amazing 151, by Forbes Magazine. That means it's one of the worst major universities in America, something like 12.5 grade (I wouldn't even call it 13th grade).

When I saw the subject line, "Heavy fighting reported in Baton Rouge", I thought the Civil War had broken out again.
Relieved to hear it was just a bar fight.

LSU and Oregon are playing now, the games on ABC.
Their starting QB and a Lineman were arrested and won't be playing.
Look here at two of LSU's freshmen.. ( I believe at least one of the two was said to have been at Shadys that night. )
Collins, 6-foot-5, 320 pounds, was one of the most sought-after offensive tackles in the country as a senior at Redemptorist High School last season.
Johnson 6-3, 310, was the consensus top-rated defensive tackle in the country as a senior at O. Perry Walker in New Orleans last season.
