This is a good reason to stay away from them.
I know many Iranians. They come to tto the west for education. Before the Shah fell the US, less now, but still go to the west.
They see the lifestyle which is free and that the US isn't the "Great Satan".
They can't help but to chaff under the religious government and rules when they go back home.
Did we forget all of the internal riots earlier this year? Mostly young, educated students.The religious police and the people who did NOT attend a university tended to be on the other side.
Then, they have a fairly free Internet. Remember they used social media to organize and to distribute video of the government violent reaction.
They are going too "self liberate" within our lifetimes. No need to go in.
Iranians are a fairly independent people. They don't want Iran to be seen as a lapdog of the US and West again.
If the US or the west went in that would just turn the young moderates against the West and give the religious government a lever to keep power.
