That's just way cool. 
And here's a question that is empirical but I don't necessarily want to burn out a monitor screen to find out:
If you set this video up as a screen saver, and let it run indefinitely, what will the shape be of the burned-in image in the area where the balls are moving? Is it a circle? A rectangle? Something more complex?
Anyone? Anyone?

It would be a distorted trapezoid, curved on the top and bottom, with a lighter triangle on top from the strings. The corners of the trapezoid would be rounded, its area being defined by the swing of round balls.
