Default Why Wikipedia Went Down at Midnight

Why Wikipedia went down at midnight

Interesting, I did a Google search and tried to click on a Wikipedia link. Apparently the site is down in protest.

I'm surprised you didn't know about this, Greta. If SOPA/PIPA passes, most of the sites you use will cease to exist. It is simply not possible for site owners to review every link and filter every word and picture that is posted on their site.

...especially if one of those unfiltered images, videos, or mp3 files turns out to be "pirated." Who is supposed to absorb the liability of defending a charge of piracy even if the item in question simply innocently passed "through" a website? The last person to deliver said item gets charged under the new law. And before they are charged the .gov will indiscrimimanently shut them down..,

You can still access Wikipedia content but you have to be quick.

As soon as you click on the link for the wiki content you've got to be ready to click on your browsers X that stops the page from loading. Do that right after the Wiki content loads.

Here's a link to practice on.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interna..._Monetary_Fund

As soon as the wiki page loads, Click on the X

Apparently, I totally missed that one. I have been really busy lately with Ron Paul stuff.
