FWIW,

While we're all waiting with bated breath for the newest revelation (about aliens) supposedly coming from the self-appointed whistleblowers of the internet, here's some background on the origin of the Guy Fawkes symbol. It's that ugly mask you see used online by Anonymous. For anyone else who wonders where the heck this kind of thing starts and why.

I have to say that the whole thing is just a little too sleazy and not really the credible social movement that the teenage 'anarchists' wish they had invented. But anything related to comic books and LSD has that effect on me.

Just taken from the movie but i love it. The scene with all the people wearing the mask is great.

No recognizable individuals anymore. Also everybody in the mob is an anarchist bomber instead of just some sheep. There's a point in that imagery too.

Anywhere in the west we had Occupy Wherever who were sent away over hygiene regulations, despersed for safety reasons etc while in Cairo the mobs stayed their ground , even against cavalry charges. This is also because we still have less to fight for
but it's a sliding scale.

People already died in Greece after a bank was torched during a protest.

Meanwhile on the internets i wonder what Anonymous will reveal about aliens. Hacked into Roswell?

They did perform some great hacks and then a lot of stupid ddos attacks.

I don't respect anyone who takes part in riots, sorry. I do believe in making change within the system. Most teenagers can't grasp the concept, and many adults have trouble with it their whole lives. Occupy will go the way of jeans with their knees ripped out, rap, hiphop, and the other teen sillinesses...to be replaced by new ones. LOL
