Default Hot enough for you? Canadians brace for heat, wind and drought

It already feels like July here, forest fires popping up everywhere up here. Had severe thunderstorm warnings today, and tornado warnings to the northeast of me.

I love it (not the fires, of course). I am prepared. Today I found a nursery that sells pond plants. Bought me some Papyrus, Taro, Water Lettuce, and Water Hyacinths. they say zone 9, but I'ma thinking they'll do fine here this year in my pond.

I'm looking for backing for an unauthorized auto-biography that I am writing. Hopefully, this will sell in such huge numbers that I will be able to sue myself for an extraordinary amount of money and finance the film version in which I will play everybody. - David Bowie

I believe it. We're not that hot yet being on the extreme end of the Great Lakes with the prevailing wind having passed over a huge expanse of cold lake water to get here. But we're already seeing beautifully clear dawns & temps in the low 20s forecast - that's low 70s in Farenheit.

We're already dry. We MAY get showers toorrow, then a streak of warm & dry. I may actually have to water the garden Friday.
