Default Sherlock

Has anyone seen the Masterpiece Theater version of Sherlock Holmes.

Being a Sherlock fan I am usually against Movies of him. They are usually poorly done and schlocky. (Other than the Jeremy Brett version)

This one is great. Modernized version that really works.

Written by Steven Moffat.

Are you talking about the BBC series that has a measly 3 episodes per season?

The BBc Sherlock series is fab, season 1 gets it going but season 2 is really good.

Quality rather than quantity.

Why yes I am.

To second UKmum it isn't McDonald's, it more like eating at a fine restaurant.

I like the modern twists. It was a cell phone of Watson's that he examined instead of a pocket watch and "Harry" was Harriett and she was a lesbian.

Even though the examination had modern elements it still showed deductive reasoning.

Doyle would be proud.

i like the show but i am not a fan of the gimmicky highlighting of clues they bring up on screen.
