Default This Blue Marble is on the Government watch list

The most hilarious thing is, the Daily Mail was too chicken to actually print the key words, they took a scan of the document and posted them as images....

Har Har Har...

I'm sure Fukushima is there, too.

And San Onofre.

Welcome to the Land of the Free, where the media are free to talk about anything, but blackout certain topics and direct our attention to political races that are supposed to matter but don't. Oh, and the Kardashians. Important stuff.

Good thing the words are in a jpg. If you had pasted the actual words here, we'd be in deep trouble. Imagine one webpage containing every keyword they're monitoring.

Im thinking we need to go viral with a new pet project.....

Operation: Information Overload.

Goal, to encourage all posters, and bloggers across the internet to utilize at least 5 or six words in every post.

We could go on a Recruitment drive, creating a Home Grown group of like minded individuals.

We could discuss things like H5N1, and plot how to survive a possible epidemic.

It would be trivially easy to create a vbulletin or blogger module that would randomly sprinkle these words into every post.

It seems to me that those words are hardly rare on forums or in comments sections, even now.

Can you imagine how many times a day the word cloud turns up somewhere on the net?

Or burn? Leak? Symptoms? Cops?

Trillions?????

There must be algorithms containing critical pairs, triplets, quadruplets, that occur together, or even in a particular sequence.

What a waste of time and money by our government. They come up with one piece of interesting data after examining a million. What did that piece of info cost all of us?

As somebody noted ....

We are scornful of the former Eastern German government for spying
on 1 in 7 citizens but now our own so called democratic governments
spy on 7 out of 7 . If your name is not on a Government data base
you are an illegal alien .

But in some specialist forums that's already achieved. The amount of data that would come in if you just used all the terms should be staggering. They must have some smart filters.

"like minded individuals" as a string should be blue.

So if I talk about the weather on Facebook, they are running it through their system "to provide awareness of any potential threats."

I guess this administration really is creating jobs.

I think a few false alarms will get sites crossed off the list.

You know, just a few days ago I was describing an epidemic of aphids within the borders of our plot of home grown eggplant, which we mitigated with a cloud of toxic powder that caused many deaths but also left a suspicious substance on the leaves. Fearing exposure of this spillover could cause symptoms of food poisoning or infection to the local wildlife and avian populations, our response was to eliminate the threat by turning to a biological agent, in this case ladybugs, which will specifically target and attack the resistant agro-terrorists in our garden.

I can only hope I provided a few moments of amusement to one of our hired Overlords.
