Default Hunger Games

Ok, not nearly as fleshed out as the book, but I guess you can only do so much in two hours. Kept bugging me where I'd seen Cinna before. Freakin' Lenny Kravitz. Woody Harrelson did a very true-to-character Haymitch.

Two parts changed from the book, that I noticed. The pin...she gets it at the market, not from her mother (from Madge). Also, a brief glimpse of Katniss and Gale in the woods, with a flash, but they don't show the (Avox) girl and boy hauled up in the hovercraft. I guess that could be flashed back to in the second movie.

I was disappointed they wasted a good actress (Paula Malcomson) as katniss' mother, but didn't flesh out her character as the first book did. I'll be hoping for that in the second movie, as well.

Wanna' go back and read the trilogy again, damnit!

I'm looking for backing for an unauthorized auto-biography that I am writing. Hopefully, this will sell in such huge numbers that I will be able to sue myself for an extraordinary amount of money and finance the film version in which I will play everybody. - David Bowie
