A String of bad luck

Posted 03-25-2009 at 05:18 PM by Toner

We've been hit by a string of bad luck recently. A nasty cold had been making the rounds at work - I caught it but couldn't stay home to recoup as because of deadlines & the fact that I was the system support.

Kindergarten Report Card

Posted 11-24-2008 at 07:30 PM by Toner

My goofy dad judgement may be colouring (Canadian spelling ) things, but it seems like my daughter's first report card from Kindergarten looks pretty good so far.

It's kind of interesting to read as there's no grading (yet?) but instead more of a general commentary/summary of what they've done to date. I'm going to have to dig out my old report cards as all I seem to remember is just the odd A/B/C/D/F rating with little or no comments. Kindergarten, of course, could be a whole...
