Default Is Snowdonia the UK's answer to Cape Canaveral? Brits could launch into space from Wales in just 3 YEARS

Under the new SpaceFlight bill space ports will be built across the UK
They could be operational as soon as 2020, launching rockets and satellites
Snowdonia Aerospace Centre could become the first spaceport in the UK
Ministers said the UK space sector is the 'future of the British economy'

In 2015, six sites were shortlisted for possible selection for a
spaceport in the UK from eight (pictured). However, since then the
government has said they would support rules that would allow a
spaceport to be built at any suitable location

The Snowdonia Aerospace Centre - set among the mountains of
North Wales - needs planning permission from Gwynedd Council and
Snowdonia National Park Authority
Chance favors the prepared mind.
