Default Nasa to reveal a 'surprising' discovery about the icy moon's subsurface oceans

The press briefing will be held at 14:00 ET (19:00 GMT) on Monday
Nasa researchers will present images taken by the Hubble space telescope
Experts think it could be related to plumes of water vapour seen in 2012
If they are connected to the subsurface ocean, this could help find life

The announcement could be related to faint plumes of water
spotted on the moon back in 2012. This graphic shows the
location of water vapor detected over Europa's south pole in
December 2012

IF there are plumes of water escaping directly from the subsurface ocean on Europa it would make it much easier to determine if there are any living organisms down there.
Chance favors the prepared mind.
