Default The end of the Defender: Final iconic Land Rover beloved by the Queen and James Bond rolls off the production line

More than two million of the 4x4s have been made over the past 68 years, making it one of the most long-lived cars
Workers at the Jaguar Land Rover plant in Solihull cheered as the last one made rolled off the production line
Defenders are a favourite of the Queen and have featured in films such as James Bond's Skyfall
Production was ended because of difficulties in maintaining safety and emissions standards
The last Defender produced will be kept by Land Rover as part of its heritage fleet of vehicles
