Default *** new clutch

I just had a new clutch put in my vehicle.

OK the other one was going at 75k miles.

But now, the clutch pressing is too light and the let off too hard.

I am feeling like I am learning to drive a standard trans all over again.

It doesn't help that the car has "enhanced" horsepower for its weight.

They probably did not bleed the system. You get an air bubble in there and you get a low pedal with a quick grab.

Clutch grabs about 1/2 way. But thanks for the info. I will keep it in mind.

It is a high quality shop and I am sure it is fine. The el jefe did the test drive so I feel good about it.

It is just different. It has been almost 6 years since I bought it new so I don't remember what it used to be.

New clutch, pressure plate, pilot and throwout bearing just making a wold of difference.
