That's early - but a hospital based cluster isn't unexpected, especially if precautions had slipped a bit, being as it's not flu season & all.

Hope they all have uneventful recoveries. I'm going to assume they were not originally in hospital for respiratory or not because of a potential flu.

Well, great news BG - I just saw our first flu patient.

CS - patients at UAMS were all myeloma patients except for one family member

Thanx Sarah - as if they didn't have enough on their plates. Not that H3N2 flu is NORMALLY more than a routine PITA for people but when you're dealing with anything potentially serious or anything that contains the dreaded 'C' word, any added stress can assume a disproportionate weight.

I hate to hear that Sarah. Keep us informed. The last thing we need around here is the flu.

Today starts the kick off of a 160 mile garage sale here in Arkansas. There will be thousands of people intermingling from near LR to Ft. Smith. THOUSANDS! In less than 2 weeks kids will be going back to school. I certainly hope it doesn't happen but this has the potential to get very interesting.
