Default Not exactly clear as mud!

Runners trawl up to their necks through ditches and race through woodland for annual 10K Muddy Trials
Gruelling event took place over the weekend in the beautiful grounds of Craufurdland Castle in Scotland
Runners are advised to tape their shoes to their feet with industrial gaffer tape to stop them coming off
Racers cross fields and woodland, ford streams before plunging waist deep through dark gooey ditches

Mud plugger: A unrecognisable contestant covered head to toe
in muck struggles through the gruelling course in the stunning
grounds of Craufurdland Castle Kilmarnock
Chance favors the prepared mind.

Don't wrestle with a pig. The pig enjoys it and you get muddy.

DD#2 goes on tough mudders and warrior dashes, and comes out looking like that. Cold, heat, bugs, dirt in your eyes... that be one of those "would you do it for a million dollars?" things for me.

A local group, Living History Farms, has a mud run each year. That's how they end up looking too.
Forgive your enemies - it messes with their minds.
