Lovely, lovely robin. You've really got the knack of turning photos into fabric images. The finished product will SING! And tweet, chirp, etc.

Lars' coot, slightly modified from Catbird's original picture to make it a North American Coot instead of a Eurasian Coot.

Putting it into my quilting software let me see how many shades of black/charcoal gray the original bird photo had.

I changed the entry for Lars on the main pic list (pg. 2) to an American Coot.

Did this project end , and did I miss the finished quilt ?

Just wondering.

Catbird was working on it with me, and her health problems called a halt, unfortunately. Now that I have the donation quilts off my hands, I'll get back to work on it.

No hurry for sure.

The delay in getting the quilt finished is entirely my fault and I sincerely apologize for being the problem. I feel really bad about it.

I have a number of squares stitched and done. But I discovered that Prednisone makes my hands shake badly enough that I can't stitch. I've spent a large chunk of the past year taking the damn stuff so my stitching slowly ground to a halt.

I would really like to continue doing the stitching but I don't want to be the reason for the quilt not getting finished. So I'll get with MA and see about getting the finished pieces sent back.

Please accept my deepest apologies.

No, no, no, Catbird, and MA.

That`s not what i meant or even implied. If it came out that way, Please accept my apologies.

I know all too well how life gets in the way of what we want to do. These days I can`t do much with my hands. Even a few minutes of hand work makes my fingers cramp up.
