Default US infant mortality rate hits all-time low after plummeting 15 percent in a decade

Infant mortality rate in the US decreased by 15 percent between 2005 and 2014
Sudden infant death syndrome - a leading cause of death - fell by 29 percent
Almost all racial and ethnic groups saw a decrease aside from American Indians
However, the mortality rate of non-Hispanic black infants is double that of non-Hispanic white infants
Chance favors the prepared mind.

It's sad there still is infant deaths but it's great they are down.
