Default Quiet Run on Flu Preps?

Went shopping a few days ago to replenish some of my flu preps. We put a dent in our mask supply when we re-roofed the house, my gloves were low because I use them for yard work, my hand sanitizer was expired, and we only have half a bottle of mucinex left.
Wal-Mart was out of masks, gloves, mucinex, and only had 4 bottles of hand sanitizer left on a shelf that would normally hold several cases. I picked up my masks (only one box of 20 available at each)at Lowe's and Home Depot, my mucinex at Wal-Green's and my gloves at CVS. I've got Sambucol on order from an online source. I couldn't find that anywhere.

Have any of you noticed shortages where you're at? I'm in Central California (Modesto area).

I wonder how much is still shorts from the bad flu season this winter? Since we're coming out of our traditional "flu season," it could be that stores are just not stocking those items like they would in the fall.

Have to say I'm on the same page as you as far as bringing the preps up to snuff. Redid this month's budget to cover some flu preps over the next couple of weeks. I'll see what stock is like here when I shop.
