Default The £1.50 Star Wars figure that sold for £18,000

Unopened Boba Fett character from The Empire Strikes back fetches huge sum at auction
The 'extremely rare' figurine was bought by an anonymous internet bidder
Boba Fett became a 'huge cult figure' despite three minutes' of film time
It was one of 85 toys put up for sale by Star Wars super-fan Craig Stevens
And the figure would have retailed for £1.50 when it was released in 1980
Mr Stevens has a staggering memorabilia collection of around 10,000 toys

Extremely rare: A Boba Fett figure (pictured) sold for £18,000
at an auction house in Teeside
Chance favors the prepared mind.

I really wish people would quit reminding me of all the stuff I destroyed or gave away over the years.

Few years ago dug out a big pile of NFL rookie cards from the 70's, some of which would have had quite a bit of value---if I had not had the bright idea to keep them together by wrapping big rubber bands around them.

It's still we the people, right?
