I'm watching Victoria too.

It's been done a hundred times, but this already looks like a much more lush, detailed production. I hope it's as good as the first 5 minutes have been.

Lots of hints of intrigue. I hope she sets that lot straight right quick!

Yes, that's always been a bone of contention in the various film and TV shows - the way that they deal with what happened with her mother and Sir John. Lots of variations.

I'm ashamed to admit it but I don't know much about her early history... well, let's try next to nothing! 20 minutes into this show, I see I've been remiss in doing my homework.

I like this young actress. I don't think I know any of the actors, although I may be proven wrong. Wow - if the real Victoria was as strong a personality as we're seeing, (she would have had to have been, wouldn't she?), this will be a great series.

I like the almost Upstairs/Downstairs, Downton Abbey aspects of this.

Far be it for me to instruct you on English history. I'll leave that to someone

I do like the way they showed Buckingham House. It's historically accurate for that time period.

The only British history we ever really learned in school consisted of names/dates of significant monarchs & lessons on famous British explorers.
