Hope they run out of gas somewhere in the Pacific. Maybe it could be a squeal to Gilligan's Island.

It is perfectly legal for NK to have a Sub 100+ miles off the
US coast .

The US probably has subs in Dear Leaders bath tub and listening
probes in even more intimate places.

I don't believe the Norks have a sub capable of this. Their submarine fleet is coastal. None of their boats even at the most optimistic estimates have the range to make it halfway to the U.S. I don't find this report credible at all- but then, it's infowars.

North Korea operates 77 Romeo class submarines , range 9000 miles .

Wiki link .

I guess it depends whether they expect to make the return journey .

Sorry, I had a brain fart on the Romeos. In either case, they aren't really strategically significant- they've been obsolete for several decades now. The true number is probably closer to 20. They're loud, and have terrible performance against other subs. So yes, it's possible they've sailed a Romeo off the coast of the U.S., however if they have done so, there's no doubt in my mind that there's been a 688 astern of her the whole time running tracking and torpedo drills.

NK has a brown water or coastal navy, any threat to the US is more likely to come from a Q ship with a nuke on it moored in or off a major city.

Yup, Nuke in a sea can, sailed into one of the pacific coast ports and detonated. Norks then say for propaganda purposes that they hit it with an ICBM the U.S. failed to detect or intercept.

That kind of move would require us to turn Pyongyang and all major NK population centers into glass. Because we would have to establish that nuclear attack is national suicide. Does Kim know this? Probably. Ergo he won't do it.

Well yeah, obviously. I forgot to add 'NK gets glassed' at the end of that.

lil kim thinks he can whoop the United States. In his demented mind I would fear he would try something like this.

That is what I was thinking! I do not want to go "tin hat" nor - but the boy might be "screwy"!

I think it was discussed as "possible"......
