Default Chiles en nogada

This is a beautiful dish of many color and flavors that will tantilize your taste buds with flavors. A neighbor gave me a dish of Chiles en nogada last year and it was wonderful. If you ever receive a dish of this consider it a gift or present and not just a dish from a friend or neighbor. I must tell you though that it is a bit labor intensive to make and now expensive.

Truly a gift of love! Like you said these are VERY labor intensive and even in Mexico are considered a special delicacy. The colors are also symbolic of the Mexican flag. I've only had the pleasure of enjoying these once or twice. What a treat!
